We wanted to give our guests a framework for a hip, intimate but pure experience of Ubud, so we created our rooms with travellers like ourselves in mind… Someone who wants to experience a wooden house built on stilts, or one reminiscent to a colonial past. Each one provides the comfort of home, that is as beautiful inside as the environment around it.

What makes Stone House unique is the use of the local materials which integrate it’s modern and a beautiful aesthetic which melds into the environment. Find one that suits your style.

Longhouse, is a wooden villa built entirely on seven-meter stilts. Located at the furthest point of the property, it juts into the jungle and faces the rice fields beyond. Longhouse has three porches; one with a swinging couch facing the pool, a side porch with an outdoor shower and the third has an oversized sofa to relax and take in the views of the paddies. The interior is complemented by a custom-designed, canopied bed, while an oversized wooden tub and natural onyx sinks grace the bathroom. You can never have enough cozy places to sit and ponder life.

Wild and free are two words that come to mind when it comes to Treehouse. Standing seven meters high above the jungle, amidst the coconut trees, our bamboo room was built as an ode to this magnificent material. Made entirely of bamboo and designed with sexy curves, this room is entirely open-air. The design driven, circular bed situated in the middle of the room easily becomes the focal point. Treehouse is a perfect blend of rustic and luxury with a view of the rice paddies as your backdrop. At night, the sounds of the nature will lull you to sleep while air conditioning within your mosquito net will keep you comfortable. A sumptuous, onyx counter top and sink are the epitome of luxury, while an oversized copper tub sits dramatically on the porch…a great place to take a soak and watch the sun go down.
Please note, Treehouse is entirely open-air and a more rustic, outdoor experience. There are no closed walls or glass doors/windows, only oversized outdoor curtains keep out the elements during a storm and during night time.

Need a change of scenery? Wake up in a restored, traditional teak limasan which was commonplace in rural Java hundreds of years ago.  Formerly home to nobility, our Farmhouse has a luxury, rambling and rickety charm with stunning views of the rice paddies just outside your front door. Situated amidst our organic farm, the bedroom is airy and uncluttered filled with country antiques mixed with Asian artifacts picked up on the owner’s travels. The outdoor bathroom has an oversized, wooden shower surrounded by a wavy, bamboo wall under a mushroom shaped copper roof.  There is a good chances a farmer will pass by tending to his herd of ducks. Kindly note, if you have any mobility issues, this room is not recommended. It is located down stone steps and across a small bridge.
